The Chapel

The story is told that the original Richmond Memorial Hospital was built entirely of funds donated for the care of the soldiers that had fought in World War II.

A central element to the design was The Chapel for the families of the sick to have a place to go and pray for their loved ones while simultaneously honoring those Richmonders that fell in WWII.  The result was what can only be described as a striking and memorable architectural element and integral to the powerful feel of the structure.
